Over five years have gone into the making of Ganesha's portrait and he is ready to debut. Coming this spring, Ganesha is one of the most detailed and vibrant of Laura Zollar's paintings, adding a new facet to the artist's collection of deity imagery. Deep symbolism and care have been part of every brushstroke, with an emphasis on the characteristics of this iconic god being.
Ganesha is an ancient deity of the Hindu culture, revered for his gifts of prosperity and an ability to break through obstacles. A more detailed explanation of the imagery will be presented upon debut. This painting was created by hand with heavy body acrylic paint on canvas.
